Hi, I’m Pérola.
I’m Pérola, the founder of Pearl Skin Beauty. My name means “pearl” in Portuguese, which is where the name Pearl Skin Beauty comes from. My dream is to become a dermatologist, and that interest in caring for skin inspired me to create this brand.
I’m a Brazilian kid living in Hawaiʻi, and both places inspire my products.
When I’m creating our skincare, I think about how the packaging and ingredients can tell a story. At first, you might think that story is my own—about where I live, my roots, and the things I love. But what I actually want to do is help you create your story.
When I started Pearl Skin Beauty, I wanted skincare that felt fresh and different. Something you’d look forward to using because you knew you were caring for your skin, with textures and packaging that made it more than another boring product on a pharmacy shelf.

Meet the Açaí Jelly Polish
Açaí was one of the first ingredients I wanted to bring to Pearl Skin Beauty. Being Brazilian, I loved the connection to home. But I also wanted to give something familiar to me a different place in your routine.
What exactly is a jelly polish?
The Açaí Jelly Polish is a facial exfoliator with a jelly texture. “Polish” describes the exfoliation: helping remove dead skin cells from the surface of your skin.
Its soft, bouncy texture brings something different to your routine, making caring for your skin something to look forward to.
Why açaí?
Açaí connects this product to my Brazilian roots. I wanted that connection to be part of Pearl Skin Beauty, bringing an ingredient familiar to me into a product you can make part of your own story.
What makes it different?
Açaí, a jelly texture, and exfoliation come together in one product. For me, the experience includes everything from the packaging to how the product feels when you use it.
